We’re being visited by the BBC 2 Antiques Road Trip experts & film crew on Wednesday 6th July 2011.

The renovations to our basement space are complete! We’re really happy with the result – here are a few photos – what do you think?

Tim’s been keeping himself busy working on the basement space. He’s been boxing in all the pipes and electrics, built a small rostrum and new door for the loo. He’s also going to be adding a new ceiling and building some new cupboards. Here are a couple of pictures to show you his progress!

We’re creating a new pitch/selling space at Picture House this week.  It’s in the basement – and was formerly a work space, loo and general dumping ground!

There was a day of clearing & cleaning. Wall repairs, boxing in, door hanging, painting etc is to follow.

There are actually some nice features down here, such as the original Georgian shutters and an old fireplace. It’s a decent sized room too. It’s also given us the opportunity to develop a new workspace next door.

A few more days and we’ll be ready to fill it with stock – we think it’s going to be a great new addition to the centre – we’ll do an update when it’s finished!
